Ascension Alleluia
A festive Easter Gospel acclamation with extended alleluias to open and close.
A festive Easter Gospel acclamation with extended alleluias to open and close by Michael Sitton. With a text drawn from Romans 6:9 ("We know that Christ being raised from the dead . . .") and John 14:18 ("I will not leave you as orphans . . ."), it is set for two-part treble voices with a prominent and supportive organ accompaniment. Accessible and effective for both children's choirs and women's voices, it is suitable for use throughout the Easter season, especially Ascension, and on other celebratory occasions.
