Bible Stories with Jake and Jenna
Apply biblical principles to familiar situations and everyday life with the help of Jake and Jenna.
Help students learn how to apply biblical principles to familiar situations and everyday life with the help of Jake and Jenna. This resource features 45 Bible stories, organized as a chronological survey of Old and New Testament stories. This resource can easily be used with a variety of religious curriculums and adapted to the needs of your ministry.
We suggest that you use human characters, because they represent real children and can speak to the concerns of young children more so than an animal puppet. Because the materials are reproducible, you can also let children in your group act out the parts of Jake and Jenna if they are readers.
Children ages 8-12 can use the reproducible pages as drama scripts for classroom or chapel use.
Each lesson uses four 'Ps' to teach the story. The Purpose provides a key point to focus on, the Procedure gives the puppet skit, then a Portion of Scripture and a summary of the Bible story are listed, followed by a brief Prayer.
This versatile resource can be used in the classroom, for Sunday School, children's church, for children's chapel services, a children's message, or adapted for use in other children's ministry settings.
