Composed in celebration of the one hundred and fiftieth anniversary of CPH, this three-movement partita is intended for any celebratory occasion.
Composed in celebration of the one hundred fiftieth anniversary of Concordia Publishing House, this three-movement partita by John A. Behnke will be loved by all. “Prelude” features the melody in a straightforward style. “Aria” highlights the text, “blessed peace,” with the addition of the tune DONA NOBIS PACEM. The final movement, “Fugue,” dances its way through F major and D minor and finishes in grand fashion in F major. Not just for Thanksgiving, this partita is intended for celebratory occasions of any kind.
