Gospel Talks for Kids is based on the weekly Gospel readings. The messages in this volume follow the three-year pericopes for Series B. These Gospel Talks for Kids were prepared with the Sunday morning worship service in mind, however many will also find these Gospel talks useful as part of opening devotions for Sunday School and worship services in the Christian Day School.
Each Gospel talk features an object as a focal point as the message begins. Since most children this age are preoperational thinkers, they benefit from seeing or using concrete objects. Usually the objects are common and easy to find.

Catherine Schumacher is a part-time Director of Christian Education currently serving at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Carol Stream, IL. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering with Lutheran Church Charities’ LERT (disaster relief) program and at Valparaiso University.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows XP, Windows Vista, or later; Mac OS X 10.4 or later, 256 MB RAM; 100 MB free hard disk space; a CD-ROM drive; a word processing program that supports editing and viewing .rtf files (such as Microsoft Word).
