Overview
With a fresh “take” on a classic 1958 Reformation worship service, Great Days in the Life of Luther teaches about Martin Luther and the Reformation through a presentation to parents and the congregation.
This classic children's Reformation service includes hymns, the Scripture lesson, and homily. Children move into the narration and each tableau to “teach” the congregation about the story of the Reformation. In each tableau, children quickly portray a significant moment or scene from Luther’s life—all without acting or speaking. The tableaux has 2 to 17 costumed roles.
While the tableaux does not include speaking, there are many opportunities for children to speak including four narrations and 42 numbered speaking parts which can be combined if needed. Hymns interweave throughout the worship service, reminding everyone the important truths rediscovered by Martin Luther—that by grace and faith in Christ alone we are saved.
Great Days in the Life of Luther is also sold in packs of 10 for use in preparing the service or to distribute to the congregation as a worship resource.
