Jacob B. Weber has cast the ANTIOCH tune in three distinct variations: I. Introduction, featuring a light and playful interpretation; II. Prelude, featuring a majestic and clear statement of the tune; and III. Festival Flourish, featuring numerous statements of each phrase of the tune as it is transformed through many key changes as though to interpret the resounding joy of Christ’s birth in every nation. Each variation may be played individually or as a set.
