Adriane Heins
Born and raised in Marcus, IA, Adriane is a Lutheran, wife, editor, and author who loves Sinatra, bacon, and high heels. A Bachelor of Arts graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin and a Master of Arts in Religion graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary, Adriane served as Associate Executive Director for Strategic Communications for the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod before marrying her husband, Chris, a dairy farmer in Missouri. She now works deployed as Managing Editor of The Lutheran Witness from a cheery office overlooking eighty Holstein heifers. Adriane’s work has appeared in Portals of Prayer, The Reporter, Modern Reformation, and the third edition of Women Pastors by CPH.
