Ruth Meyer

Ruth E. Meyer is an active wife and mother who wears many hats. Above all else, she is a child of God. Ruth describes herself as a “working stay-at-home mom,” working as an author and church musician in addition to caring for her family.  She and her husband have been married for more than 10 years and have five children. They reside in Texas. Ruth earned a bachelor’s degree in Church Music and Piano Pedagogy from Concordia University, Ann Arbor.  She has a special love for Lutheran hymnody and especially enjoys playing the organ. In addition to book ideas, Ruth keeps her own blog, TruthNotes, and is also a regular contributor to the blog Sister, Daughter, Mother, Wife, a Lutheran blog written by women for women. It is her hope that both her music and her writing glorify God and point others to their Savior, Jesus Christ.
