Ted Kober
Ted Kober is a Senior Ambassador for Ambassadors of Reconciliation (AoR), having served as President from AoR’s founding in 2004 through May 2015. In addition, Ted has been a Certified Christian Conciliator™ since 1992, consulting and conciliating in cases ranging from personal disputes to lawsuits and church conflicts. Ted is a frequent guest speaker and teacher at churches, church-worker conferences, schools, universities, and seminaries. He is also an adjunct instructor for Peacemaker Ministries and PeaceWise (Australia). He has equipped church-body leaders from more than thirty-five countries. In 2004, Montana’s governor appointed Ted to chair the first Montana Consensus Council. He has also served in leadership at Peacemaker Ministries and as a reconciler for The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). Ted has published articles, Bible studies, devotions, training manuals, and books, including Confession & Forgiveness (CPH, 2002) and Cultivating Lifestyles of Reconciliation (co-authored with Ken Sande; AoR, 2009). A lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Billings, Montana, Ted occasionally plays organ for worship. He and his wife, Sonja, live in Billings. They have one son, David, and two grandchildren.
