My Journey in Faith - Revised Edition - Teacher Guide

My Journey in Faith takes students through the Bible to show how God’s plan of salvation unfolds through the Old and New Testaments.  Topical catechism connections are made through each lesson.

The Teacher Guide offers these elements in each lesson:

• Theme summarizes the main idea for the lesson
• Objectives provides what students should learn in the lesson
• Attention, Please offers a choice of activities to introduce the lesson’s main idea
• Together in His Name offers an activity or discussion centered around a Bible reading
• Lesson Builders offers a variety of activities to expand upon the theme
• Here and Now helps bring a present-day perspective to the lesson
• Side by Side uses active learning or group activities to involve students in the lesson and reinforce the main ideas
• Closing Response wraps up the lesson through a song, Bible reading, reflective discussion, or other activity

My Journey in Faith can be used with My Christian Faith for a two-year instruction course.
