Organ with a Touch of Handbells
Eight organ preludes arranged by Sondra K. Tucker to include a few handbells as highlights to the organ settings.
Eight organ preludes arranged by Sondra K. Tucker to include a few handbells as highlights to the organ settings. These pieces may be played by organ alone but are made more rich by the inclusion of handbells. Of the eight settings, most can be played by as few as 3 octaves and require as few as 5 bells and no more than 14. Reproducible handbell parts are included.
The setting Easter Medley: Christ the Lord Is Risen Today / This Joyful Eastertide may be played by an optional brass quintet (2 trumpets, French horn, trombone, tuba), in addition to the handbells and organ. Brass parts for this setting are available for download (97-7630PDF).
