Stephen Starke’s well crafted paraphrase of the Te Deum is set to the stirring THAXTED tune in a new arrangement for choir, brass, timpani, and congregation. The choir sings a two-part mixed setting in stanza two and an easy four-part setting with brass fanfares in stanza three. The instrumental parts are well within the range of skilled amateur players.
