Where Is the Newborn King? by Andreas Hammerschmidt and edited by Harold Mueller is designated for use on the Feast of the Epiphany, but is also appropriate for other occasions during the Christmas season. Two verses (Matthew 2:2, 5) from the Gospel for the day are used in the setting, and two verses (Nos. 2 and 9) from the Christmas hymn Ein Kind geboren zu Bethlehem (Puer natus) are also used.
